PRIME is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on raising awareness in men's health - primarily prostate cancer. Through education we hope to give men the tools they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Annually, there were 220,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Each year another 30,000 do not survive its devastating effects. While these staticts are startling they do not address the millions of men who live with the disease.

For men recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, we offer a premium second opinion service that allows them the peace of mind that comes with knowing a leading pathologist who specializes in diseases of the prostate has reviewed their case.

Prostate DietBase

The Prostate DietBase is an intiative focused on helping men make informed choices about what they eat.

Help us by sending your specific questions or by making a tax deductible donation to help fund the project.

Second Opinions

Under the expertise of Dr. Jonathan Oppenheimer, a highly regarded pathologist specializing in diseases of the prostate, PRIME has developed a timely second opinion service accessible to both patients and physicians alike.

This enables PRIME to serve the community of men diagnosed with prostate cancer while continuing to educate younger men on the possibilities for prevention.

PSA Values

PSA values are not consistent across various equipment. To help men understand these variations we would like to share data from the New York Tumor Maker Proficiency Test conducted in January 2005
